Terry Frost was a British abstract painter whose artwork was informed by his love of colour, light, and form. His masterful use of colour combined with bold geometric forms is presented as a celebration of life's exuberance. This attitude is perhaps attributed to the experiences he had whilst serving as a soldier and being a prisoner of war in World War II. Committed to the transformative power of colour and shape, Frost experimented with various mediums, from oil and acrylic paint to collage and printmaking.
