Jeremy Walking In Coat is a signed digital print made by the renowned British artist Julian Opie in 2010. Coming in an edition size of 60 the print shows a male figure in a long coat captured in motion. The man is rendered side-on and appears to be striding across the composition. The figure is reduced to a simplified form, void of any distinguishable characteristics and the man’s face is replaced by a circle, lacking any facial features.
The man in Jeremy Walking In Coat is captured in motion and Opie skilfully creates the illusion of movement by duplicating the lower portion of the figure’s legs and arm and blurring them.
